PITCH PATROL

CASE #1: THE WARM-UP PITCH

Anonymized on purpose. No names or handles. This is a pattern to learn, not a call-out of a person. Dates are Oct 24โ€“25, 2026 (CT).

Not every scam is a token. Some come as "growth help" offers that start in public and try to move to private. Here is how one played out in our Telegram group, the Dip Club, step by step.

Timeline

Day 1, about 12:19 PM CTJoins the Dip Club. Posts generic praise ("Nice to be in this amazing community") and asks who runs the project.
Day 1, afternoonKeeps asking friendly, open-ended questions: long-term or quick profit? What's the main goal? No questions about tokens or scam checks.
Day 1, eveningSays they have "a few ideas" to bring in more holders. The team answers in public: ideas are welcome right here in the group; we don't do private DMs or paid services. They then ask for our X link.
Day 2, about 2:15 PM CTPosts the same "ideas to bring in more holders" pitch again, nearly word for word.
Day 2, about 2:22 PM CTThe team declines again, in the group, in public.
Day 2, about 2:27 PM CTPublic sniff call-out: the dogs point out the pattern (same copy-paste pitch twice, after a run of warm-up questions).
Day 2, about 2:30 PM CTRemoved from the group with the admin bot's /ban, on the owner's call.

WHAT THE DOGS SNIFFED

Over two days the member never asked about a token, a contract or a sniff. Every question pointed toward who runs the project and how to get them talking. The "ideas" were never shared in public, even when invited, and the same growth pitch came back the next day. We don't claim to know what the offer was. We only know it was never shown in the open, and that is the pattern.

RED-FLAGS CHECKLIST

Two or more of these? Keep it public, ask for details in the group, and never pay for "growth".
